Where do I begin? Well...I was born in St. Louis, MO and then moved to Sacramento, CA with my parents and my big brother, who I share a birthday with, when I was 3 years old. As a child I was always into coloring, writing, crafting, and drawing. I went through a brief Barbie and Cabage Patch phase, but I always came back to my first love which was anything you can do with paper...paper dolls, watercolors, airplanes...anything paper. My ultimate love, however, is reading. Ironically, I did not like the books that were required in school because I was too busy reading Bebe Moore Campbell, Beverly Jenkins, Alice Walker, Danielle Steele, and Jackie Collins. I was raised in South Sacramento in the 90s and when I graduated from high school and went to college, I realized I was a true nerd and loved writing 5000 word papers. As a result, I now have a B.A. in Business Administration, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and an M.S. in Organizational Management. I have one teenage son who is very talented in basketball, and I love to cook, read, and exercise. I work in the mental health industry but...for some reason all of these characters were begging to have their stories told so please enjoy your trip to Pine Meadows because there is more to come!
